Sensei Chris Fingerhut has been training at Busto's Karate for over sixteen years. Since starting in karate at the age of nine, Sensei Fingerhut has continued to advance, currently holding the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kenpo. In addition to Kenpo, he has also trained in Shootfighting, and has attended seminars to train with such martial arts experts as Sifu James Ibrao, Steve Finn, MarkTuthill, Renshi Allie Alberigo, Bart Vale, and George Dillman, to name a few. Sensei Fingerhut received his Junior Black Belt at the age of thirteen, and became a 1st Degree Black Belt in 1997. He started his teaching career that same year and has been helping students progress in the martial arts ever since. In the years that followed, he has taught both kids and adults in private lessons, group lessons, and traveled out of the studio to both attend and aid in giving special seminars. His students have ranged from special needs children with ADD to advanced adults seeking to achieve their own Black Belts. Sensei Fingerhut is currently working to complete his requirements for a 3rd Degree Black Belt, taking classes in mixed martial arts and continuing to teach students on a daily basis
